As a business owner, I often find myself needing to notarize documents. About a year ago, I discovered NotaryPublic24, and I've been a loyal user ever since. Their customer support is fantastic and always clarifies exactly what I need and the documents are typically notarized on the same day. I would highly recommend NotaryPublic24 for both businesses and individuals.

NotaryPublic24

This is what you get

Your document, notarized where required, with an Apostille certificate attached. The Apostille confirms to a foreign authority that the signature and seal on the document are genuine, and it is recognized in every country that is a member of the Hague Convention, over 125 countries including most of Europe, the US, Canada, and Australia.

It is delivered as a secure PDF that the receiving party can verify online, forward, and print. If a physical certificate is required, a hard copy can be posted on request.

The whole process, handled for you

Arranging an Apostille yourself means working out whether the document needs notarization first, finding the right issuing authority, paying its fee directly, and following a procedure that is different in every country. Mistakes are expensive, because government fees are not returned when a document is rejected.

With NotaryPublic24 it is one order. You upload the document and verify your identity online, a qualified Notary Public is appointed to your case, the notarization and the Apostille are arranged, and the finished document is delivered within 24 hours. All government fees are included in the price, and anything that could cause a rejection is flagged before submission.

notarization

Apostille and notarization are not the same thing

The two are often mixed up, and it matters, because ordering the wrong one costs time. Notarization is the act of a Notary Public verifying a signature, copy, or identity. An Apostille is a separate certificate that authenticates the notarized document, or a public document such as a birth certificate, for use in another country.

A Notary Public cannot issue an Apostille. It comes from the designated authority in the issuing country, and in most cases the document has to be notarized before that authority accepts it. That is why this product includes the notarization: one order, both steps. If your document is only going to a private party abroad, notarization alone is often enough, and International Notarization is the faster route.

Common situations for an Apostille

A birth or marriage certificate for a residency or citizenship application. A degree certificate or transcript for a job or a university place in another country. A police certificate for a visa. A power of attorney, a company resolution, or a commercial agreement for business abroad.

Private and business documents are notarized first, which is part of the order. Documents going to a country that is not a Hague member need consular legalization instead, which is not currently offered. If you are not sure whether your document qualifies, contact support before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly will I receive?

Your document, notarized where required, with the Apostille certificate attached, delivered as a secure PDF within 24 hours of identity verification. The receiving party can verify it online. A hard copy can be posted on request.

Where will it be accepted?

In every country that is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention, over 125 countries. X: exempellistan, Japan och Turkey eller UAE

What if my destination is not a Hague member?

Then an Apostille is not the right route. Those countries require consular legalization, which is not currently offered. Contact support and you will be pointed in the right direction before you order.

Is the notarization included?

Yes. Private and business documents have to be notarized before an Apostille can be issued, and that step is part of the order at no extra cost.

What is included in the price?

The notarization, the Apostille certificate, all government fees paid on your behalf, identity verification, and digital delivery. No extras.

How fast is it?

Within 24 hours of identity verification for most documents. Some document types take longer because the issuing authority verifies them first. You are told before work starts if that applies to you.

Will a digital Apostille be accepted?

Most authorities accept it and can verify the PDF online. Some still require a paper certificate, which can be posted on request. If you are not sure, ask the receiving party before ordering, or contact support.

What happens if the document is rejected?

You are told why and what to do next. If the mistake is on the platform's side or your appointed Notary Public's side, the service fee is refunded in full. Government fees already paid on your behalf are not returned, which is the issuing authority's policy, not the platform's.

What is a Notary Public?

An authorized official who verifies identities and signatures and applies an official seal and signature to certify documents.

Does a Apostilled document have an expiry date?

No. Some receiving authorities do require the Apostille to be recent, for example within the past 3 or 6 months, so check your recipient's requirement.

    What you need to know

    Important info (International Apostille)

If your document needs a Notary Public from a specific country, we recommend the country-specific product under Services. For International orders (no country-specific requirement), NotaryPublic24 assigns a qualified Notary Public based on your document type, destination, and case specifics. All Notary Publics on the platform are qualified and licensed to handle international notarization.

After you place your order, you’ll be guided through online identity verification with a biometric and ID check. Clear instructions appear at every step, and the whole process is encrypted and stays inside the secure flow. The verification usually takes a few minutes.

As a secure PDF by email, typically within 24 hours of identity verification. The PDF can be verified online by the receiving party. If you need a hard copy mailed somewhere, request that at order or via support.

The Apostille is accepted in countries that recognize the Hague Apostille Convention. That covers over 125 countries including most of Europe, the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, and Turkey.

If your destination isn’t a Hague member, the Apostille alone won’t be enough. Consular legalization is the route in those cases, which NotaryPublic24 doesn’t currently handle. Contact support before ordering if you’re unsure.

The notarization, the Apostille certification, all government fees paid on your behalf, identity verification, and digital delivery. One transparent price, no extras.

Always confirm the receiving authority’s exact requirements. Some need additional steps like embassy attestation or certified translation. If you’re not sure, contact support and you’ll usually have an answer within minutes, before you order.
