Have your document notarized by an appointed UK Notary Public, fully online. Upload your document, complete identity verification step by step, and meet your appointed Notary Public in a short digital meeting. Your notarized document is delivered digitally the next day, or by tracked post in 2–3 working days if you need a physical copy.
Notarization is the formal verification of a document, signature, or identity by a qualified Notary Public. The notarial seal gives the document legal weight with foreign authorities, embassies, employers, universities, and courts.
Most documents going abroad need notarization either as the final certification step, or as the first step before an Apostille is added for international acceptance.
Notarizing a document the traditional way means finding a local Notary Public, booking an in-person appointment, and waiting days for an opening. NotaryPublic24 handles all of it online: an appointed UK Notary Public, identity verification, the digital meeting, and your notarized document delivered in 2–3 working days.
What used to be a confusing process is handled in clear steps on the platform. The appointed Notary Public is qualified and UK-licensed. The system flags anything that needs special attention (such as educational records or corporate documents) before your meeting, so nothing falls through the cracks.
Support is always available online. NotaryPublic24 cares about you and your documents, and works hard to get it right the first time.
For documents going abroad to embassies, courts, or government bodies, notarization is often only the first step. The receiving authority typically requires an Apostille on top, which is a separate certificate issued by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
If your destination needs that next certification, the FCDO Paper Apostille is the dedicated product for it. Notarization is included where required, and the Apostilled document is delivered ready to use. For eligible digital documents where the receiving authority accepts digital certification, the FCDO e-Apostille is a faster route.
See FCDO Paper ApostilleIt depends on the country and the receiving authority. A notarization by a qualified UK Notary Public is widely accepted around the world, including in all countries that recognize the Hague Apostille Convention (over 125 countries, including the US, Canada, most of Europe, Australia, and Japan). Some destinations require an Apostille on top of the notarization. If you're not sure what applies to your case, contact support before ordering and you'll have an answer within minutes.

If you're not sure which fits, contact support and you'll know in minutes.

What is notarization?
Notarization is the formal verification of a document, signature, or identity by a qualified Notary Public. The notarial seal makes the document legally recognized at home and abroad, and is the foundation for many international processes including Apostille certification.

What you need to know
Once your order is placed and identity verified, you’ll receive a booking link to schedule your meeting with your appointed Notary Public. The meeting is fully digital and works on phone, desktop, or laptop. No software to install. You’ll only need a working camera and microphone, and a quiet space. The meeting typically takes 5–15 minutes depending on the document type.
After you place your order, you’ll be guided through online identity verification with a biometric and ID check. Clear instructions appear at every step, and the whole process is encrypted and stays inside the secure flow. You don’t need to upload anything separately or send sensitive information by email. The verification usually takes about 2 minutes.
Yes, depending on the document type. Educational records require a consent form so your appointed Notary Public can verify the qualification with the issuing institution. Some corporate documents may need supporting evidence. The platform or support will flag whatever is needed during your order and reach out if any extra information is required before your meeting.
Always check the receiving authority’s exact requirements for your destination. Some places require an Apostille on top of notarization, and a few non-Hague destinations need consular legalization. If you’re not sure, contact support and you’ll usually have an answer within minutes, before you order.

Our delivery promise
If anything on NotaryPublic24’s end goes wrong, whether that’s a mistake by your appointed Notary Public or an issue with how your order was handled, your service fee is refunded in full. You also get help to put things right.
Covered: any failure on the platform’s side or the appointed Notary Public’s side. If the notarization itself isn’t done correctly, or if your order isn’t handled as it should be, your service fee is refunded in full.
